Protons, Neutrons, and Electrons:

In Chemistry we have been doing activities and learning about the elements and the way they work. For example, an elements atomic number determines the number of protons and electrons. If an element has an atomic number of two then there would be two protons and in a neutral atom, two electrons. If you know the number of protons and electrons you can find the number of neutrons. Once you have the number of neutrons and the number of protons you can find the atomic wieght.
