The Pressure of Gases
We have been learning about the pressure of gases. We did a lab: The fizz keeper, submarine diving, and crushing cans using a column of air 60 miles tall. These showed what gases can really do. In the Fizz-Keeper there was a water bottle and a balloon. The water bottle was pretty flimsy at first and then we began to pump more gases into the inside. At the end, the water bottle was unable to squeeze. There was so much gas compacted into the water bottle that the outside would not squeeze in. Also, after the gases were pumped inside the temperature increased.
