Whatsa Matter?


This week in Mr. Olsen's chemistry class, we learned how to use a pan balance and a graduated cylinder. First we predicted the possible measurements for volume and mass. We measured several items such as test tubes, paper and plastic tubes, a door stopper, money, a fishing weight, and more. The lab was very interesting and I discovered that I did not know much about predicting! All of my predictions were off.
